GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

1. OBJECT

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern all bookings and sales of products and services by TERRE DES ÎLES (SARL VANILA), whether via www.terredesiles.com
or directly at the establishment. TERRE DES ÎLES reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice; modifications will not apply to already confirmed bookings. The applicable version is the one in force at the time your booking is confirmed (payment validation).

2. BOOKING

Any booking implies acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale as well as the house rules. The client selects the services offered on our platform and acknowledges having taken note of their characteristics. The client is responsible for their choice and for the suitability of the services for their needs. The booking is confirmed upon completion of the online process and receipt of payment. The client agrees to provide accurate and complete information when booking.

Check-in: between 3:30 PM and 7:00 PM. Please notify us if you arrive later: an additional fee of €30 may apply.

Check-out: before 10:00 AM. Beyond this time, an additional night may be charged.

Capacity, stay conditions, and pets: The lodges are reserved for 2 adults.
The layout of the lodges does not allow children or extra beds. Only the persons mentioned at the time of booking are allowed to stay on the property; external visitors are not permitted. Pets are not accepted. Failure to comply with these rules may result in refusal of access without any refund.

3. PAYMENT

Prices are in Euros, including VAT. 50% of the total amount is due at the time of booking, the balance upon arrival, by credit card (Visa/Mastercard) or in cash. Cheques and holiday vouchers are not accepted. Payments are secured via REUNION TELECOM or elloha/Stripe. The validity of your card will be verified and may be declined for theft, exceeded limit, or input error. In case of issues, please contact your bank and TERRE DES ÎLES.

4. SECURITY DEPOSIT

A security deposit of €300 (credit card imprint) will be taken before or on the day of arrival. This amount is not charged and will be canceled after your stay, except in case of damage. You are responsible for any damage to the facilities, pool, or garden, and it is recommended to have insurance covering these risks.

5. BOOKING CONFIRMATION

Upon booking, you will immediately receive an email confirming your order. This message summarizes the offer, reserved services, rates and terms of sale, booking date, and contact information for any questions or complaints to TERRE DES ÎLES.

6. CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION BY THE CLIENT

In accordance with the Consumer Code, the client does not benefit from the right of withdrawal. Cancellation and modification conditions depend on the rate booked. All cancellations or modifications must be made directly with TERRE DES ÎLES using the contact details provided in the booking confirmation.

In case of cancellation, the 50% deposit is non-refundable.

For cancellations within 7 days of arrival or no-show, the total stay is due.

Online bookings are automatically charged; bookings made by email or phone must be paid before arrival.

A Safebooking cancellation insurance is offered at the time of booking to cover these cases.

7. CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION BY MANAGEMENT

In case of force majeure (cyclone, tropical storm, unforeseen unavailability), TERRE DES ÎLES reserves the right to modify or cancel a booking. The client will be invited to choose a new date. No travel or accommodation expenses incurred by the client will be reimbursed.

The client will be informed by email or phone using the contact details provided at the time of booking. If these details are incorrect, TERRE DES ÎLES cannot be held responsible for non-receipt of information.

The management may also cancel a booking in case of presumed non-compliance with the General Terms. In all cases of cancellation by management, the total amount paid will be refunded according to terms agreed between the parties.

8. SERVICE USAGE

A copy of identity will be requested after booking, before or on the day of arrival. Any behavior contrary to public decency or public order may result in immediate exclusion of the client without refund.

9. LIABILITY

The photographs and texts presented on our platform are non-contractual and are intended only to provide an overview of services. Variations may occur between booking and stay.

TERRE DES ÎLES cannot be held responsible in case of non-performance or poor performance due to force majeure, the client, or third parties (internet problems, inaccessible website, virus, declined prepayment, etc.). Any irregular or fraudulent booking or payment may result in cancellation at the client's expense, without prejudice to legal action.

TERRE DES ÎLES declines all responsibility in case of theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings. The client is responsible for any damage, vandalism, or degradation caused by themselves or persons under their care. In case of violation, the client may be excluded without refund and will have to reimburse the damage.

If the reserved accommodation is not available, TERRE DES ÎLES undertakes to offer accommodation of equivalent quality.

10. COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY AND DRONES

TERRE DES ÎLES is a private property. Any dissemination of images or photography for commercial purposes (shooting, product promotion) requires written authorization from management.

Drone filming, whether private or commercial, is strictly prohibited. Any drone flying over the property without authorization may be confiscated and reported.

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The website www.terredesiles.com
and all its content (texts, photos, etc.) are protected under intellectual property law. Any reproduction or use without written permission from TERRE DES ÎLES is prohibited.

HOUSE RULES – FOR AN UNFORGETTABLE STAY

All tenants must comply with the House Rules as well as any other instructions provided by management and must inform management of any incidents promptly.

1. Parking
Closed parking available. Please lock the gate after each passage.

2. Waste and Recycling
Please put your bins in the designated containers (yellow, green, glass).

3. Noise, Parties, and Neighbors
Noise and parties are strictly prohibited at all times. Any disruptive behavior may result in eviction without refund.

4. Garden
Respect the garden and plants. Do not pick fruits, vegetables, or flowers.

5. Pool
Follow safety and hygiene rules. Pool unsupervised. Mandatory shower before swimming, especially after the beach or sunscreen application. In case of accident, alert emergency services immediately. Smoking or drinking around the pool with glass, soap, oils or similar products in the water, running, diving, jumping, urinating or spitting in the pool is prohibited.

6. Linens
Sheets and towels provided. Bath sheets must not leave the property. For stays longer than 1 week, weekly replacement.

7. Safety and Energy
Please close doors and windows and turn off lights, air conditioning, and appliances when leaving the lodge.

8. Tobacco
No smoking inside the lodge or around the pool; use ashtrays.

9. Breakage and Damage
All damage or broken items must be reported to management. Do not move furniture without permission.

10. Cleaning and Key Return
Final cleaning included. Please keep the lodge in good condition and return properly.

12. Compliance
Non-compliance may result in eviction without refund, according to the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
